Since she’s young, Genevieve always dreamed of journey and adventures. She was never afraid of physical challenging and she liked to do everything differently than everyone. It is at the cegep (in between University and Secondary in Quebec), she enter in contact for the first time with a cyclist's couple who traveling around the world in bicycle. At this time, this journey became unconscious models for her. Three years after this meeting, at the University, Genevieve find by pure chance on another article on the same kind of journey. This article confirmed her desire to travel by bicycle and confirm to her, that such journey is possible to achieve.

Two years later, Genevieve met Benoît at the University whit the media of a very good friend. At this time, Benoît was a student in primary education and Geneviève studding in psychoéducation. She exchanges on the idea of the journey and Benoît accepts to join to her dream. Together, they take 3 years to establish this adventure.

During the first year, there are a lot of words thrown in air and a lot of ideas are put on the table. It is at this stage the journey was summarily a dream but they still thinking then they can do it.

During the second year, the two adventurers take the journey more seriously and begin to put on paper all ideas. It is at this moment, then they establish a promotional document of the journey (8 months to complete) and then they inquire in depth about the equipment required. It is also to this stage that people begin to believe the seriousness of the adventure. At this time, Benoît and Genevieve realize all the work they have to do to achieve their dreams. The most important, they never been discouraged and they always keep the journey as the main objective to achieve.

During the third year, the two adventurers must succeed in accumulating of all the money to finance the journey and then, to buy the whole material of which they need for the trip. Genevieve fined a job in her studding program because she needs a lot of money and she want have professional experience before living. At this time, Benoît and Genevieve work together in the same organism, The Pavillon du parc. They work with peoples who gut mental challenging trouble. During this year, she also moves to Benoit parent house for 5 months to save money for the trip.

Finally, shortly before Christmas, they give their letter of resignation to their employer. To their big surprise, all are happy of their journey and they encourage them to leave. The January 2006, they make a last dinner of goodbye with the whole family and they finally leave for the big adventure. It is only to this instant when they put the key in the door, that they realize the size of their decision. Everyone should do it, its a great felling!!!

Now, after 8 months of journey, they are always happy and they foresee to pursue their journey the longest that they can it. It is paradise!!!!!!!
