What a nice pleasure to get back on the road and to fell so free. Never ever we would expect to be so happy after been so long time at home.

We have left Gatineau, the pass Thursday, thru a heavy rainfall. I could not stand anymore to be inside a house and we wanted to be to Montréal for the weekend. We enjoy the road and discover some very nice places. In Masson-Anger we meet another cyclist on the road. He was coming from Victoria (B.C.), and was heading to Halifax. It was quite nice to discover than we were not the only crazy cycling who ride in this bad weather.

Lucky for us, Benoit knew someone close of this area than, we stopped there for the night. It was very nice and we enjoy it very much. It took two days to get to Montréal. The weather was bad and it was relatively cold. We discover some really nice new area that we didn’t know by following La route verte.

On the way to Montréal, we past thru Kanesatake, it is a famous Amerindian reserve. It was very funny to pass all those small shop where they sell cigarette. They all offer the drive thru service! When we get to Montréal, it was so much raining. We were all wet and we were getting so cold. At least, it was not so difficult to find Marc-André apartment. What a great weekend! It was just so nice and relax.

We finally finish the DVD. We have been to Mountain Equipment Co-op today and, few peoples bought our DVD. We were happy of our first experience. Tomorrow, we are going to Sherbrooke to visit Benoit sister. She is pregnant.

Montréal - Québec : October 16 to 27, 2007

What up with us?

Since we have been on the road, we visited many people we know. We visit Genevieve in Sherbrook and benefits of this time to sell some DVD to Atmosphère and Velomania. We make an arrangement whit, Club des petits déjeuners du Québec. We will give them 2 $, each time we are selling a DVD and we will give 10 % of the cash that we will make whit our conferences in 2008 (January to June).

On the way to Trois-Rivière, we meet an Angel. Her name was Lynda. That day, the weather was quite bad and we were late to visit Benoît grand-parents. She gives us a ride; we realize the impossible, make 2 bicycles and 11 bags fit in a Toyota Echo. She was not at all materialist!!!! She also arranged us an interview with radio Radio-Rock détente.

We choose to ride on the national 138, it bring us to Québec city! What a nice road. Most of us miss this wonderful seaside road. All the way we follow the Saint-Laurent, we cross some very nice village on the way.

Finally, you might want to know, how we are feeling after such a big adventure far away for our country. It is not so bad….. we are still riding our bike but, not everyone are agree with our way of life. People may think we cannot live like this for long time. But…it is part of the game and we have to trust our self. It is necessary to keep the direction and always remember our goal. According to my philosophy, the worse think to do after such journey, would be to take some decisions by fear. We have confidence in the future and when you have time; it is possible to do everything. We are going to use these two or three months to prepare our future projects.
